Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you’ll have time to rest and recover from your journey. In the evening, a detailed trek briefing will be provided, covering the route, safety guidelines, packing check, and permit procedures.

After an early breakfast, we begin a long scenic drive following the Prithvi Highway towards Dhading and Arughat. The road gradually transitions into a rough off-road trail along the Budhi Gandaki River valley. You’ll pass through terraced fields, waterfalls, and rural settlements before reaching Machha Khola.

The trekking officially begins today. The trail includes narrow paths, suspension bridges, and small villages like Khorlabesi and Tatopani (hot springs area). After several ups and downs along the river gorge, we reach Jagat, a stone-paved village marking the entry checkpoint to the restricted Manaslu region.

The trail climbs gradually through subtropical forests, passing Salleri and Philim village. The landscape becomes more peaceful and remote as we enter deep river valleys and bamboo forests. After crossing Sirdibas and Ekle Bhatti, we continue toward Deng, a small settlement surrounded by hills and rivers.

Today’s trail involves steady ascents and descents through pine forests and traditional villages influenced by Tibetan culture. We pass Ghap and numerous mani walls carved with Buddhist prayers. As altitude increases, mountain views begin to open up, revealing peaks of the Ganesh Himal range.

A shorter yet highly scenic day. The trail passes Lihi village and Sho village, offering stunning views of Himalchuli and Ngadi Chuli. On arrival in Lho, we visit the Ribung Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in the region, with panoramic views of Mount Manaslu.
